This episode, Larry and Chris (and Marisa) present the first episode of their new podcast, Live From Octagon Studios.  This is a music and interview podcast with audio recorded at Octagon Studios of Atlanta, interview segments mixed by Chris and live music mixed by Skip Lapekas.  On the premiere episode, they hear from the country duo, The Glorious Failures.This is a project we have put a great deal of work into and it would never have come to pass without the help of Skip Lapekas of Octagon Studios, our cameramen, Jared Mackey and Evan Martin and, of course, The Glorious Failures, Matt Gawlik and Steve Rosenberg.  For a little something extra, follow this link to see the video we made for the song Lyin'.

Long ago in a post I wrote that one day we'd introduce you to the person responsible for our theme music.  This is the day!  Larry and Chris welcome Pop Culture Architects' resident musician, Chris Blackburn to the podcast.  They discuss the number of Chrises to appear on the show, SoundLab, past misadventures, Atlanta's music venues, Co-Star Acting Game Records, what must've happened to Foghat, the sobriety of rock stars, the McDonald Playland of the seventies, and a new product is born.Chris graces us with two of his original songs, Ode To A Hornet and Siren's Call, both of which can be downloaded in higher bitrate in the preceding two posts (having been "remastered" by Harvey).
